We partnered with adidas Basketball to showcase their new collection through our lenses. Imagine yourself at the office, throwing paper in the trash can. You do a basket and cannot escape that glimpse of joy.

Everybody hoops and can succeed at it, if one keeps trying. The Chapter01 collection is a representation of the athlete's journey, spanning from the tunnel to the courts and beyond. It features a range of apparel including hooded tops, sweatshirts, fleece tanks, shorts, and sweatpants, crafted from both heavy sueded terry material and comfortable, breathable cotton jersey detailed with ribbed hems. These styles are offered in an array of five colorways Carbon Black, Halo Gold, Sesame, Mineral Green, and Ash Pearl.

The collection is here to keep us ready for that, just in case.

adidas history with basketball goes way back. While we are all familiar with the iconic adidas Superstar, not many know that the model’s history began as a basketball shoe back in 1969. NBA goats, such as Kareem Abdul Jabbar and Jerry West boosted its popularity. Kareem Abdul Jabbar was the first ever basketball player contracted by adidas. In 1972 adidas created their Kareem Abdul Jabbar trainers, decorated with his face and signature. The shoes were a hit and an advertisement of the times recites “Footnote for tomorrow’s stars”. The ‘70s attitude explodes in the ‘80s and this collection hosts a big comeback: the Rivalry. This shoe has notoriously shifted its way from the hardwood to the streets, bridging fashion, sports and lifestyle.
